Supported Child Development Program

If you are concerned about your child’s development, the Supported Child Development Program (SCDP) can help. SCDP is tailored as a family-centered, collaborative program that serves children from 3 to 19 years of age who have diversabilities.
SCDP provides an opportunity for parents to:

• Learn ways to maximize your child’s development
• Discuss child development milestones and parenting concerns
• Connect with other community resources and create a support network around your child’s needs
• Meet other parents experiencing similar challenges

For your child to:

• Discover abilities and skills
• Live their preferred life
• Connect with peers

Access to the program is free of charge and voluntary. As a parent or caregiver, you may contact the organization directly, or you may be referred by a doctor, public health nurse, or community professional. Once you have connected with us, someone will be in touch to discuss options for service. Together, you will create a plan that meets the needs of your child and your family.
