Supported Child Development Program
If you would like to discuss your child’s development, the Supported Child Development Program (SCDP) is available to support. SCDP is tailored as a family-centered, collaborative program that serves children from 3 to 19 years of age who live with diversabilities.
SCDP provides an opportunity for parents to:
- Have space to explore your child’s development
- Discuss your child’s development journeyand any potential concerns
- Connect with other community resources and create a support network around your child’s needs
For your child to:
- Discover abilities and skills
- Live their preferred life
- Connect with peers
Access to the program is free of charge and voluntary. As a parent or caregiver, you may contact the organization directly, or you may be referred by the Ministry of Child and Family Development, SD19, community professional, or self-referral. Once you have connected with us, a program coordinator will be in touch to discuss options for service. Together, you will create a plan that work towards meeting the needs of your child and your family.
