Our group events remain a highlight, featuring a weekly coffee group, monthly trips to local attractions, and Lunch and Learns.

BAH works closely with the Seniors Center, Hospice, Community Paramedic, Interior Health, and CRN to provide comprehensive care and support to seniors in the community.

Community Connector Program

Our Community Connector provides non-medical support to help older adults identify and achieve their personal health and wellness goals. Funded by United Way, this program employs social prescribing to create meaningful community connections that promote healthy aging.

Social prescribing is a holistic, person-centered, community-based approach that addresses various aspects of well-being, including social connections, food security, health support, transportation, housing, income and finances, and accessibility and inclusion.

The Community Connector dedicates time to building trusting relationships, collaborates with seniors to develop personalized wellness plans, and offers ongoing support through regular follow-ups.
