Peter Dixon

Joined 2021

Peter brings a wealth of experience and a broad range of skills to CCRS. After spending several years working in the federal government with Members of Parliament and the Minister of the Environment, he chose to further his education by obtaining a master’s degree in Environment and Management, specialising in corporate social responsibility, and earning his LEED AP accreditation.

Since then, he successfully operated a consulting firm that, among other initiatives, created an innovative and comprehensive sustainable agricultural assessment tool. Additionally, he co-founded Green Energy Partners, where he provided guidance to small and medium-sized enterprises on energy-efficient retrofitting. Furthermore, he played a key role in launching Beattie’s Distillers, a thriving large-scale potato vodka business. More locally, he founded and operated Revelstoke Snowshoe Company for about a decade and serves on the board of Revelstoke Youth Soccer Association. Peter’s diverse background and entrepreneurial endeavors position him as a solid contributor to fostering positive community health and promoting sustainable practices.

Holly joined the board in September 2024, finding a meaningful opportunity to advocate behind the scenes for services that played a pivotal role in her own healing journey. With a professional background in marketing, communications, and journalism, she brings technical expertise and a passion for amplifying voices that often go unheard. Holly’s path to Community Connections was forged largely through personal experience navigating family addiction, loss, and the grief and challenges that follow. Having benefited tremendously from CCRS services, she’s honoured to work alongside this inspiring team committed to ensuring these essential resources remain accessible. Holly is eager and excited to further Community Connections’ mission, contributing her skills and lived experience while immersing herself deeper in Revelstoke’s non-profit community.

As a board member she is delighted to contribute to the evolution of these services with this motivated team.

In her spare time, she is an outdoor enthusiast, involved as a nordic ski coach in the winter, and climbing or cycling in the summer.

Kory joined the CCRS board in December of 2024, driven by a strong desire to give back to the community that has given him so much. A trained exploration geologist with many years of people and project management experience, he stepped away from his professional career a few years ago to embrace life as a stay-at-home dad to his two young boys. He is excited to put his remaining brain cells to good use supporting CCRS in its mission to provide high-quality social services to the Revelstoke community. When he’s not out skiing or biking with his kids, you’re most likely to find Kory with his nose buried in a book.
