Home Share Provider
Home sharing is a living arrangement for adults with diverse abilities based on matching the individual’s needs and desires with community members who have the desire and ability to share their life and home with such individuals. People are happiest when they feel that they are a valued and an integral member of a family unit, and that is what makes home sharing a success!
Become a provider
Caregivers provide opportunities for individuals to build friendships and meaningful relationships as well as maintaining strong independent community connections. Home sharing families provide full time residential services under paid contracts with Community Connections.
Community Connections screens family’s lifestyle, personalities and interests before finding the right match.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 19 years of age
- Satisfactory home screening study
- Criminal record check
- Satisfactory background check
- First aid / CPR Certificate
- Physician’s certificate of good health
- Valid driver’s license
