Community Connections, Revelstoke Local Food Initiative and Bear Aware together present…
What GLEANING means to the Food Bank: “To collect and gather surplus produce from the community to enhance food quality”
Simply contact Revelstoke Bear Aware at 250-837-8624 or firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange for FREE pickup of any unwanted produce from your yard and garden or to volunteer to help pick fruit. Volunteers are welcome to keep some fruit for their own use.
Alternatively, you can drop off your surplus produce directly to us:
• Monday to Thursday, 8.30am – 4.30pm – drop off at Community Connections, located at 314 Second St East.
• Friday, 8.30am – 11am – drop off at the Food Bank, located downstairs at the Legion, 600 First St West.
Food will go to the Food Bank to enhance the nutritional value of our hampers!
